The Granville Income Tax Department is responsible for collection, audit, and enforcement of the village’s one-and-one-half percent (1.5 %) income tax pursuant to Chapter 171 of the Granville Codified Ordinances. This tax provides funds for the purposes of general municipal operations, maintenance, new equipment, extension and enlargement of municipal services and facilities, and capital improvements.

Due Dates:
- Yearly Income Tax Return Due Date: April 15
- Individual Declaration - Due Quarterly: April 15, July 31, October 31, and January 31
- Business Declarations - Due Quarterly: April 15, June 15, September 15, and December 15
Payroll Withholding
- Quarterly Filers - Employers withholding less than $300.00 per month: 30 days following the last day of each calendar quarter (4/30, 7/30, 10/30, 1/30)
- Monthly Filers - Employers withholding more than $300.00 per month: 15 days following the last day Of each calendar month. (2/15, 3/15, 4/15, 5/15, 6/15, 7/15, 8/15, 9/15, 10/15, 11/15, 12/15, 1/15)
- Withholding Reconciliation - Due Yearly: February 28
