ORDINANCE NO. 16-09

TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 17-08 PROVIDING FOR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009 AND REVISING SUMS FOR OPERATING EXPENSES

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.08 of Article II of the Charter of the Village of Granville, Ohio, the Village Council is authorized to adopt the Municipal Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2009, and;

WHEREAS, the Village Manager has recommended appropriations to supplement previously made appropriations; and

WHEREAS, adjustments would be made to the Sidewalk account in the General Fund to appropriate funds for the resurfacing of the small-width pathways within or adjacent to the Bryn Du and Erinwood subdivisions for which the receipt of bids was authorized by Resolution No. 09-43.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of Granville, Ohio, that:

Section 1. The annual budget of the Village of Granville, as established by Ordinance No. 17-08, be amended by the Council in accordance with the recommendation from the Village Manager.

Section 2. To provide for Operating Expenditures during the fiscal year ending December 31, 2009, the following additional appropriations are hereby made to the following funds and accounts:

Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
