ORDINANCE NO. 21-09
 
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 17-08 PROVIDING FOR ADJUSTMENTS OF THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009 AND REVISING SUMS FOR OPERATING EXPENSES
 
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.08 of Article II of the Charter of the Village of Granville, Ohio, the Village Council is authorized to adopt the Municipal Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2009 and ending December 31, 2009, and;
 
WHEREAS, the Village Manager has recommended appropriations to supplement previously made appropriations; and
 
WHEREAS, adjustments would be made to accommodate the following needs:
 
a.  Administration - $7,500 for salaries/wages
 
b.  Income Tax - $30,000 for income tax refunds
 
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of Granville, Ohio, that:
 
Section I:  The annual budget of the Village of Granville, as established by Ordinance No. 17-08, be amended by the Council, as recommended by the Manager, and is hereby adopted.
 
Section II: To provide for Operating Expenditures during the fiscal year ending December 31, 2009, the following additional appropriations are hereby made to the following funds:

Section III: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
