Ordinance 21-02

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.08 of
Article II of the Charter of the Village of Granville,
Ohio, the Village Council is authorized to adopt the
Municipal Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1,
2002 and ending December 31, 2002, and;

    WHEREAS, the Manager has recommended
appropriations to supplement previously made
appropriations.

    NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of
Granville, Ohio, that:

Section    I:    The annual budget of the Village of
Granville, as established by Ordinance No. 39-01, be
amended by the Council, as recommended by the Manager, and
is hereby adopted.

Section   II:    To provide for Operating Expenditures
during the fiscal year ending December 31, 2002, the
following appropriations are hereby made in the General
Fund:

Reserve Fund:

Section IV:    That this ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force from and after the earliest period
allowed by law.

Ordinance 20-02

WHEREAS, on September 17, 2002, an application for a
Planned Commercial District Development Plan (Development
Plan) was submitted by Dr. Jeff Oster to convert the
structure at 1179 Cherry Valley Road, Granville, Ohio,
into a medical office; and,   

    WHEREAS,  said application was submitted to the
Granville Planning Commission for review in accordance
with Section 1171.04 of the Granville Codified Ordinances,
and;

    WHEREAS, the Granville Planning Commission
conducted a public hearing on this application on
September 23, 2002; and,

    WHEREAS,  on September 23, 2002, the Granville
Planning Commission, by a vote of 5-0, made a
recommendation of approval with conditions regarding the
application; and forwarded proposed findings of fact and
attached exhibits to this Council, and;

    WHEREAS, this Council considered this application
and conducted a public hearing on this application on
November 6, 2002.  

    NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of
Granville, Ohio that:

Section I:    The accompanying plan depicting the
location of the medical office at 1179 Cherry Valley Road,
Granville, Ohio, hereto attached and marked Exhibit “A”,
be and is hereby made a part of this Ordinance.

Section II:    The Development Plan as submitted to the
Granville Planning Commission be and is hereby approved
subject to the following conditions:
    
A.    All conditions set forth in the Granville Planning
Commission’s motion to recommend approval to Council of
Application #02-128, with conditions, a copy of which is
attached hereto marked Exhibit “B” and hereby made a part
of this Ordinance.  

Section III:    Council specifically finds that the
subject development plan meets all the requirements set
forth in Section 1171.03(c )(2) of the Codified Ordinances
of Granville.

Section IV:    This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after the earliest period allowed by
law.

Ordinance 19-02

 NOW, THERFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the
Village of Granville, Ohio, that:

Section I:    Existing Chapter 145 of the Codified
Ordinances of the Village of Granville, Ohio is hereby
amended as noted in “Exhibit A” attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
 
Section II:    This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after the     earliest period allowed by
law.

Ordinance 18-02

 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.  39-01 PROVIDING
FOR ADJUSTMENTS OF THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 2002 AND REVISING SUMS FOR OPERATING EXPENSES.

    WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section
2.08 of Article II of the Charter of the Village of
Granville, Ohio, the Village Council is authorized to
adopt the Municipal Budget for the fiscal year beginning
January 1, 2002 and ending December 31, 2002, and;

    WHEREAS, the Manager has recommended
appropriations to supplement previously made
appropriations.

    NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of
Granville, Ohio, that:

Section    I:    The annual budget of the Village of
Granville, as established by Ordinance No. 39-01, be
amended by the Council, as recommended by the Manager, and

Ordinance 17-02

 AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH THE GRANVILLE VILLAGE MANAGER'S
SALARY FOR 2003.


    WHEREAS, Article II, Section 2.08 of the Charter
of Granville, Ohio, provides that Council shall fix the
salary of the Village Manager by ordinance, and

    WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 23-00, establishing the
salary of the Manager for the period of January 1, 2000,
to December 31, 2002, will expire on December 31, 2002.

    NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of
Granville, Ohio, that:

Section   I:    The salary of the Village Manager for the
calendar year 2003 shall be $ 72,900 payable bi-weekly in
the amount of 1/26 of the total amount.

Section  II:    Council recognizes (Attachment “A”) the
Employment Agreement as the new and additional terms of
employment.
    
Section III:    This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after the earliest date allowed by law.
