RESOLUTION NO.  08-17

A RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR GROUNDS MAINTENANCE, AS PER SPECIFICATIONS, TO LEGEND LAWN AND LANDSCAPE AND TO AUTHORIZE THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT THEREFOR

WHEREAS, the Village of Granville has received proposals for grounds maintenance services from companies interested in providing those services during 2008; and

WHEREAS, Legend Lawn and Landscape has submitted the lowest proposal for the grounds maintenance services; and

WHEREAS, the Service Director has talked with references for Legend Lawn and Landscape and has recommended that the contract for grounds maintenance services be awarded to Legend Lawn and Landscape as the lowest and best bidder.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Granville, Ohio that:

Section I: The contract for Grounds Maintenance, as per specifications, shall be awarded to Legend Lawn and Landscape at an estimated cost of $20,107.00 for mowing services and $2,140.00 for mulch installation and landscape maintenance.

Section II: The Village Manager is hereby authorized on behalf of the Village of Granville to enter into an agreement with Legend Lawn and Landscape for grounds maintenance services in the Village of Granville for Calendar Year 2008.

Section III: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
