RESOLUTION NO.  08-29

A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO AUCTION OR ADVERTISE FOR BIDS THE SALE OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT

WHEREAS, the Village Manager and Department Heads have identified equipment that is no longer needed for municipal purposes; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Village to proceed with the sale of such surplus equipment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Granville, Ohio that:

Section I:  The Manager should and is hereby authorized on behalf of the Village of Granville to auction or advertise for bids for the sale of the following surplus equipment:

a. Battery Drill and Charger (Water Department)
b. Hammer drill (Water Department)
c. Pick-up truck (Water Department)
d. Laser Jet Printer (Water Department)
e. Desk Jet Printers (Water Department)
f. Street paving bricks (Service Department)
g. Pick-up truck (Service Department)
h. Street sign posts (Service Department)
i. Bicycles (Police Department)
j. Analog Black and White Copier (Main Office)
k. Various Computer Monitor and Hard Drives (Village)

Section II: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
