RESOLUTION NO.  08-36

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINANCIAL POLICIES FOR THE VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE

WHEREAS, it is desire of the Village Council and the Village Staff to establish policies to provide guidance for future financial decisions, to link long-term financial planning with day-to-day operations, and to help insure that the Village can maintain its stable financial position; and,

WHEREAS, the Village Council's Economic, Finance and Personnel (EFP) Committee and the Village Staff have developed a set of draft financial policies for consideration by the full Council; and

WHEREAS, the EFP Committee recommends that the draft financial polices be adopted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Granville, Ohio that:

Section 1. The Financial Policies for the Village of Granville, which are attached hereto as "Exhibit A", are hereby approved.

Section 2.  This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
