RESOLUTION NO. 09-05

A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION

WHEREAS, in accordance with Article VII, Section 8.01 of the Granville Village Charter, the Council of Granville, Ohio, did by Resolution No. 65-2 create a Development Commission and appoint members thereto; and,

WHEREAS, the electorate of the Village of Granville adopted Ordinance No. 28-89, to modify the said Article VII, Section 8.01 of the Granville Village Charter, which changed the title of the Granville Development Commission to the Granville Planning Commission; and,

WHEREAS, the terms of Jack Burriss, Tom Mitchell, Lyle McClow (School Board representative), and Jackie O'Keefe (Council representative) expire on January 31, 2009.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the Village of Granville, Ohio, that:
 
Section  I: Jack Burriss and Tom Mitchell be and hereby are appointed to the Granville Planning Commission for a three-year term, said term to expire on January 31, 2012.

Section II: Council hereby accepts the designation of Lyle McClow as the representative from the Granville Exempted School District Board of Education, for a one-year term. 

Section III: Council hereby appoints Jackie O'Keefe as the representative from the Granville Village Council, for a one-year term.  

BE IT FURTHER NOTED, that the Granville Planning Commission Membership is as follows with terms as indicated:

Section IV: This resolution shall take effect and be in full force immediately upon passage.
