RESOLUTION NO. 09-14

TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO AMBER MITCHELL FOR SERVICE ON THE BOARD OF BUILDING AND ZONING APPEALS 

WHEREAS, Amber Mitchell served as a member of the Granville Board of Building and Zoning Appeals from June 2, 2004 to February 1, 2009; and

WHEREAS, during those years of service, Amber gave faithfully of her time, talents and resources to help maintain a community standard that is apparent to both residents and visitors of the community; and 

WHEREAS, Amber's dedication to preserving the historic and architectural value of this community have been an invaluable asset to both the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals and the Village Staff; and

WHEREAS, Amber played a vital role in maintaining the New England charm of Granville and enhancing the health, safety and general welfare of the people that live and work within the Village boundaries. 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:

Section 1. On behalf of the citizens of the Village of Granville and the Granville Board of Zoning and Building Appeals, the Village Council hereby extends its gratitude and appreciation to Amber Mitchell for all that she has done to preserve and enhance our community while serving on the Granville Board of Zoning and Building Appeals.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
