Resolution 03-02

 A RESOLUTION TO FILL VACANCIES ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION.

    WHEREAS, in accordance with Article VII, Section
8.01 of the Granville Village Charter, the Council of
Granville, Ohio, did by Resolution No. 65-2 create a
Development Commission and appoint members thereto; and,

    WHEREAS, the electorate of the Village of
Granville adopted Ordinance No. 28-89, to modify the said
Article VII, Section 8.01 of the Granville Village
Charter, which changed the title of the Granville
Development Commission to the Granville Planning
Commission; and,

    WHEREAS, the terms of Jack Burris, Carl
Wilkenfeld, Richard Salvage (School Board representative),
and Richard Main (Council representative) expire January
31, 2003; and,
    
    NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of
Granville, Ohio, that:
 
Section  I:    Jack Burris be and hereby is re-appointed
to the Granville Planning Commission for a three-year
term, said term to expire on January 31, 2006.

Section II:    Richard Salvage be and hereby is appointed
to the Granville Planning Commission for a three-year
term, said term to expire on January 31, 2006.

Section III:    Council hereby accepts the designation of
(to be determined) as the representative from the
Granville Exempted School District Board of Education, for
a one-year term.

Section IV:    Council hereby appoints Richard Main as
the representative from the Granville Village Council, for
a one-year term.  

 
    BE IT FURTHER NOTED, that the Granville Planning
Commission Membership is as follows with terms as
indicated:

in full force immediately upon passage.

Resolution 03-01

 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.


    BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF GRANVILLE, OHIO,
that:


Section   I:    The Manager should be, and hereby is
authorized on behalf of the Village of Granville to enter
into an agreement with Ohio Department of Transportation
for the following, as represented in Exhibit A, attached
herewith.
    
Painting and encasement of piling on bridge located on
State Route 661 within the Village of Granville.  Work to
be performed on the bridge located on State Route 661,
which is located 1.56 miles north of State Route 16.

Section  II:    This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
