SPECIAL ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE
DECEMBER 1, 1987
CALL TO ORDER
Law Director Munro called the meeting to order at 7: 30 p.m..
Ms. Munro asked that the record show the Village received
certification of the November 3, 1987 General Election results
from the Licking County Board of Elections. The following
persons have been elected members of Council for a four year
term:
Benjamin W. Rader
Mary Ann Malcuit
Timothy 0. Hughes
C. Arthur Morrow
Law Director Munro administered the oath of office to each
af the newly elected members' of Council separately.

Responding to roll call were:

Councilmember Eisenberg
Councilmember Hughes
Councilmember Malcuit
Councilmember Morrow
Councilmember Rader moved to
seconded by Councilmember Avery.

APPOINTMENT OF CLERK
Councilmember Rader moved that Catherine M. Miller Clerk of Council. be appointed Motion carried. Motion seconded by Councilmember Eisenberg.
Law Director Munro administered the oath of office to Catherine M. Miller as Clerk of Council for a two year term.

ELECTION OF MAYOR
Councilmember Schnaidt moved the nomination of Arnold J.
Eisenberg as Mayor. Motion seconded by Councilmember Morrow.
Councilmember Rader moved that the nominations be closed.
Councilmember Avery seconded. Motion carried.
Law Director Munro administered the oath of office to
Arnold J. Eisenberg as Mayor for a two year term.
ELECTION OF VICE MAYOR
Councilmember Rader moved the nomination of Samuel L. Schnaidt as
vice Mayor . Motion seconded 'by Councilmember Avery. Motion
carried.
Law Director Munro administered the oath of office to
Samuel L. Schnaidt as Vice Mayor for a two year term.
MEETING ANNOUNCEMENTS
December 2, 1987 -Regular Council Meeting -7: 30 p.m..
Following a brief discussion among members of Council, consensus Council was, that the regular meeting of December 16, 1987 be
rescheduled for Tuesday, December 15, 1987 -7: 30 p.m.
With no further business to discuss, Councilmember Rader moved
for adjournment. Motion seconded by Councilmember Schnaidt. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7: 18 p.m..
