CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Gallant called the meeting to order at 7: 34 p.m..
ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE
Mayor Gallant administered the oath of office to the newly
appointed Village Law Director, Ann Munro. Everyone welcomed
Ms. Munro.

in for Manager Plunkett.
Councilmember Rader moved to excuse Manager Plunkett. Motion
seconded by Councilmember Garrett. Motion carried.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
Public hearings were held on the following legislation:
Ordinance No. 12-87 -An Ordinance Accepting An Application For
Annexation Of Territory And Establishing Certain Zoning Districts.
No one appeared to speak for or against this ordinance.
Public hearing closed at 7: 40 p.m..Action on this ordinance was held for Old Business.
Ordinance No. 16-87 -An Ordinance To Amend Ordinance No. 27-86
And Appropriate Funds For Operating Expenses In The General Fund.
No one appeared to speak for or against this ordinance.
Public hearing held closed at 7: 42 p.m..Action on this ordinance was for Old Business.
MINUTES
June 17, 1987 -Regular Council Meeting -Councilmember Eisenberg moved that the minutes be approved as amended. Motion seconded by Councilmember Rader. Motion carried.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Development Commission -Councilmember Avery said he would have
a report for Council at this next regular meeting.
OLD BUSINESS
Ordinance No. 12-87, "An Ordinance Accepting An Application For
Annexation Of Territory And Establishing Certain Zoning Districts."
Councilmember Schnaidt moved to amend Ordinance No. 12-87,
Section II, as follows:
That the property described in Section I, premises conveyed
to Harold C. Attebery (Deed Volume 563, page 359),and; premises
conveyed to Village of Granville (Deed Volume 230, page 453),
effective upon annexation, be classified as Community Service
District",and; a new Section III:
That the property described in Section I, premises conveyed
to Granville Shopping Center, Inc.,d e(ed Volume 644, page 498),
premises conveyed to Denison University (Volume 194, page 118
and Volume 545, page 56),and premises conveyed to Certified Oil
Corporation (Volume 42, page 849),effective upon annexation, be
classified as Suburban Business District", the old Section III,
would then become Section IV.
Motion seconded by Councilmember Garrett.
Mr. Sharp, Denison University, was asked if the University had
any objections to the Denison Steam Plant being zoned Suburban
Business District. Mr. Sharp said no.
Roll call vote on the motion to amend as proposed by Council- member Schnaidt: Schnaidt-yes, Garrett-yes, Avery-yes, Eisenbergyes,
Radery-es, Davisony-es, Gallanty-es. Seven yes votes. Motion to amend Ordinance No. 12-87 duly adopted.
Councilmember Avery moved for adoption of Ordinance No. 128-7 as amended. Motion seconded by Councilmember Garrett. Roll call vote: Avery-yes, Garrett-yes, Rader-yes, Eisenberg-yes, Davison- yes, Gallanty-es. Seven yes votes. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 12-87 duly adopted.

Ordinance No. 16-87, An Ordinance To Amend Ordinance No. 27-86

Fund", was moved for adoption by Vice Mayor Davison. Motion
seconded by Councilmember Avery. Roll call vote: Davison- yes,
Avery-yes, Rader-yes, Eisenberg-yes, Garrett-yes, Schnaidt-yes,
Gallant-yes. Seven yes votes. Motion carried. Ordinance No.
16-87 duly adopted.
NEW BUSINESS
Ordinance No. 17-87, "An Ordinance To Amend Ordinance No. 27-86
And Appropriate Funds For Capital Expenses In The Water Fund",
was introduced and

Of Ordinances Of The Village Of Granville Establishing Sewer
Regulations And Charges And To Repeal Existing Sections Of The
Code Of Ordinances", was introduced and title read in its
entirety by Councilmember Garrett. A public hearing for this
ordinance was scheduled for July 15, 1987, at 7: 30 p.m..
Ordinance No. 19-87, "An Ordinance To Amend Ordinance No. 2-86
Establishing Sewer Regulations And Charges And To Repeal Existing
Section VII Of Ordinance No. 2-86",was introduced and title
read in its entirety by Councilmember Rader. A public hearing
for this ordinance was scheduled for July 15, 1987, at 7: 30 p.m..
Ordinance No. 20-87, "An Ordinance To Vary The Road Width
Standard In The Bryn Du Woods Planned Unit Development"w,as introduced and title read in its entirety by Councilmember
Eisenberg. A public hearing on this ordinance was scheduled for
July 15, 1987, at 7: 30 p.m..
Resolution No. 87-16, "To Waive The Fee For Fireworks Displays
By Robert N. Kent During The 1987 July 4th Celebration"w,as introduced and read in its entirety by Councilmember Avery.
Councilmember Avery moved for passage of Resolution No. 871-6. Motion seconded by Councilmember Garrett. Motion carried. Resolution No. 87-16 duly passed.
Resolution No. 87-17, "To Award The Bid For The Purchase Of A Leaf Loader, And To Authorize The Village Manager To Enter Into A Purchase Agreement With Gledhill Road Machinery Co.,Therefor", was introduced and read in its entirety by Councilmember Garrett. Motion seconded by vice Mayor Davison. Motion carried. Resolution No. 87-17 duly passed.

Acknowledge Receipt Of The 1988 County Tax Budget
Councilmember Rader moved that Council acknowledge receipt of
the 1988 County Tax Budget as proposed by the Village Manager.
Motion seconded by Councilmember Garrett. Motion carried.
MEETING ANNOUNCEMENTS -None
OTHER ITEMS DISCUSSED
Mayor Gallant took a count of those members who will be riding
in the 4th of July parade. The parade will begin at 10: 45 a.m..
ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember Rader moved for adjournment. Motion seconded by
Councilmember Garrett. Motion carried.
