ORDINANCE NO. 11-80
AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE VILLAGE MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A DEED FOR THE SALE OF LOTS 7, 8, 9,
OF THE MARY A. MUNSON ADDITION AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Lots 7, 8, 9, of the Mary A. Munson Addition were de- clared as surplus property and by Resolution directed to be sold at public auction No. 80-11; and
WHEREAS, A public
bid of $24, 000. 00 was
that:
auction was held on June 14, 1980, and a high
received from Mr. Charles E. Winegardner.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained By The Council Of Granville, Ohio,

I: The Village Manager should be, and is
hereby, directed and authorized on behalf
of the Village of Granville to
execute a deed for the sale of Lots 7,
8, 9, of the Mary A. Munson Addition.
The purchase price shall be $24, 000. 00,
as bid by Mr. Charles E. Winegardner.
The closina shall take place as soon
after the completion of Case No. 80-70573,
in the Court of Common Pleas of Licking
County, Ohio, a case to quiet title to
Lot No. 7, as is reasonably possible,
but no later than July 31, 1980.
The Village shall reserve ah easement on Lots 8 and 9, for an existing water line.
This Ordinance is hereby declared to be
an emergency measure, necessary for the
preservation of the public health, safety and general welfare in that it is advantageous
to complete the sale of this
property in a timely manner, and therefore, it shall take effect immediately upon passage.
