AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 22-79 AND APPROPRIATE FUNDS
FOR CAPITAL EXPENDITURES IN THE WASTE WATER COLLECTION FUND AND
DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF AN EMERGENCY.
Providing For Adjustments Of The Annual Budget For The Fiscal Year 1980 And To Provide
Sums To Meet Current Obligations Arising From Electrical Outages And The Need
For A Generator At Cedar Street Lift Station.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2. 08 of Article II of the
Charter of the Village of Granville, Ohio, the Village Council is authorized to
adopt the Municipal Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1980 and ending
December 31, 1980, and
WHEREAS, such a budget has been adopted for the fiscal year 1980 but did not
include provisions for expenditures for sums hereafter indicated, and
WHEREAS, electrical outages have caused sewage overflow at the Cedar Street
Lift Station, and
WHEREAS, a generator would maintain service in the event of outages.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained By The Council Of Granville, Ohio, that:

I: That the sum of $4,500 be and hereby is appropriated
to Account 63-6, in the Waste Water Collection Fund,
to furnish a generator for Cedar Street Lift Station.
II: This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure necessary for the preservation of the public
peace, safety, and wdlfare, and for the further
reason that the appropriation of these funds is
necessary for the Village to meet its obligations.
