ORDINANCE NO. 10-81
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 20-80 AND
APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR CAPITAL EXPENDITURES IN
THE WASTE WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Providing For Adjustments Of The Annual Budget 1981 And For The Fiscal Year To Provide Sums To Meet Current Obligations Arising From A Probable Sanitary Sewer Collapse On South Pearl Street, And The Need To Excavate And Repair Said Sanitary Sewer.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2. 08 of Article II of the Charter of the Village of Granville, Ohio, the Vfisilclaagle Council is authorized to adopt the Municipal Budget for the year beginning January 1, 1981 and ending December 31, 1981, and;
WHEREAS, such a budget has been adopted for the fiscal year 1981 but did not include provisions for expenditures for sums hereafter indicated, and;
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 5. 05 of Article V of the Charter of the Village of Granville, Ohio, the Village Council is authorized to make purchases in any amount on the open market without competition, in the case of a public disaster, and;

I: The sum of $25, 000 be and hereby is appropriated to Account 62-7
entitled, "South Pearl Street Sewer
Repair"i,n the Waste Water Capital Improvements Fund to provide for
excavation and repair of the South Pearl Street Sanitary Sewer.
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, and welfare, and for the further reason that the appropriation of these funds is necessary for the Village to meet its obligations.
This ordinance shall be in effect at date of passage.
