AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN APPLICATION FOR ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY AND ESTABLISHING A CERTAIN ZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF GRANVILLE, OHIO:
Section I: That the application of James T. Russell and others of the
annexation of the following described real estate in the
County of Licking and adjacent to the Village of Granville,
situated in the Township of Granville, County of Licking,
and State of Ohio, and bounded and described as follows:
Being a part of Township Two,
further described as follows:
Range Thirteen and being
Commencing at the Northwest corner of a tract owned by
David L. and Barbara K. Lechner as recorded in Deed
Book 667, Page 518 of the Licking County Deed Records,
said point being in the center of an old township road;
thence S. 00 ° 57' 56" E. 695. 44 feet to a point marked by
an iron pin set; thence S. 77 ° 20' 43" W. 335.43 feet to
a point marked by an iron pin set; thence S. 77 ° 57' 30"
W. 447. 45 feet to a point marked by a steel post;
thence N. 02 °42' 55" W. 461. 00 feet to a point in the
center of Welsh Hills Road, passing a point marked by
an iron pin set at 409. 95 feet; thence N. 33 ° 17' 05" E.
293. 00 feet along the center of Welsh Hills Road to a
point; thence S. 47 °43' 50" E. 188.46 feet to a point
marked by an iron pin set, passing a point marked by
an iron pin set at 30. 37 feet; thence S. 86 ° 16' 25" E.
136. 75 feet to a point marked by an iron pin set,
passing a point marked by an iron pin set at 76. 75 feet;
thence N. 07 °06' 15" W. 251. 12 feet, passing an iron pin
set at 221. 12 feet; thence N. 83 ° 19' 30" E. 371. 86 feet
to the place of beginning.
Containing 11. 2150 acres, more or less.
The foregoing description was prepared on May 7, 1981,
by Harold W. Hitchens, Registered Surveyor No. 4623.
an accurate map of which territory, together with the
petition of its annexation, and other papers relating
thereto, and a certified transcript of the proceedings
of the Licking County Commissioners in relation thereto
are on file with the Clerk of Council of the said
Village, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section II: That the property described in Section I, annexation, effective upon be classified SRD-A.
Section III: That this ordinance shall take effect upon the earliest date permitted by law.
