AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 36-84 AND APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR
CAPITAL EXPENDITURES IN THE SEWER DEBT SERVICE FUND.
Providing For Adjustments Of The Annual Budget For The Fiscal Year 1985 And To
Provide Sums To Meet Current Obligations Arising From The Debt Service Payment
Schedule For The Construction Of The Sewage Treatment Plant.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2. 08 of Article II of the
Charter of the Village of Granville, Ohio, the Village Council is authorized
to adopt the Municipal Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1985
and ending December 31, 1985, and;
WHEREAS, such a budget has been adopted for the fiscal year 1985 but did
not include provisions for expenditures for sums hereafter indicated, and;
WHEREAS, sewer rates were adjusted to reflect increased costs on
January 31, 1985, and collection of those costs began in February, 1985, ing caus- a shortfall in the Debt Service Account.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of Granville, Ohio, that:
Section I The sum of $17,000.00, be and hereby is transferred
from the Sewer Fund to the Sewer Debt Service Fund.
Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
the earliest date permitted by the Charter of the
Village.
