AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN APPLICATION FOR ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY AND ESTABLISHING CERTAIN ZONING DISTRICTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF GRANVILLE, OHIO:
Section I: That the application of L. James Gordon and others
for the annexation of the following described
real estate in the County of Licking and
adjacent to the Village of Granville, to wit:
Situated in the State of Ohio, County of
Licking and Township of Granville, bounded and
described as follows:
Beginning at a point a the

and the
intersection of the

The above described property, which is adjacent
to and contiguous with the said Village of
Granville, Ohio, is owned by fourteen (14)
persons, namely, Granville Golf Course Company,
Alice K. Neel, Eva S. Kennedy, Daniel R. Freytag,
Suzanne M. Freytag, William T. Flyg, Kathleen A.
Flyg, Brenda P. Heisey, John F. Heller, III,
Cynthia B. Heller, S. A. Kaper, R. T. Kaper,

The foregoing description was filed with the Board
of County Commissioners of Licking County,
L. James Gordon, Agent, Granville, Ohio, on
November 14, 1986.
An accurate map of which territory, together with
the petition of its annexation, and other papers
relating thereto, and a certified transcript of
the proceedings of the Licking County Commissioners
in relation thereto are on file with the
Clerk of Council of the said Village, be and the
same is hereby accepted.
That the property described in the annexation

S. A. and R. T. Kaper (Deed Reference, Volume
753, page 785),and; Howard W. and Florice J.
Dellard (Deed Reference, O. R. Book 119, page 709),
effective upon annexation, be classified as
Suburban Residential District "A".
Section III: That the property described in the annexation
petition as owned by William T. and Kathleen A.
Flyg (Deed Reference O. R. 107, page 373);Daniel
R. and Suzanne M. Freytag (Deed Reference O. R. 25,
page 566);Eva S. Kennedy (Deed Book 470, page 483),and; Alice K. Neel (Deed Book 728,
page 112),be classified as "Open Space District".

attached and marked Exhibit "A",be and hereby
is approved.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon the
earliest date allowed by law.
