BY:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE GRANVILLE ZONING ORDINANCE AND
ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, BY AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION
OF THE ZONING DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND
DESCRIBED HEREIN AND LOCATED AT 118 SOUTH PEARL STREET FROM
VRD, VILLAGE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO VBD- A, VILLAGE BUSINESS
DISTRICTA-.
WHEREAS, on November 16, 1992, an application was filed by
the owner of the property known at 118 South Pearl Street
requesting a change in zoning district and classification of said
property from VRD, Village Residential District to VBD- A, Village
Business District- A, and;
WHEREAS, said application was submitted to the Planning
Commission, which, after public hearing in accordance with the
provisions of Section 1143.03 (a)b,()c,)(,and (d) of the
Granville Codified Ordinances, recommended to this Council on
December 31, 1992, that said application be approved, that is,
the rezoning of the property from VRD, Village Residential
District to Village Business District- A, and;
WHEREAS, the Granville Planning Commission recommended
approval of the rezoning application on December 21, 1992, and
the Village Council conducted its public hearing on that
recommendation February 3, 1993, in accordance with Section
1143. 04 (F) through (H),of the Granville Codified Ordinances,
and;
WHEREAS, this Council, by a vote of a majority of the full
membership thereof, approved the Planning Commission' s recommendation,

NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained By The Council of Granville,

Passed this
I: That the Granville Planning Commission' s
recommendation to reclassify the said property as VBD- A, Village Business District-A be and is
hereby adopted by a majority vote of the full
membership of Council.
II: That the Granville Codified Ordinances, and
accompanying map thereto are hereby amended
insofar as the same relates to a certain
parcel of land located at 118 South Pearl
Street from VRD, Village Residential District
to VBD- A, Village Business District- A, herein
described in the legal description hereto
attached and marked Exhibit "A"and Exhibit "B".
That this ordinance shall take effect upon the earliest date permitted by law.
