The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the October 4, 2017 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 13-2017, An Ordinance Consenting to Annexation of Certain Real Property Located at 1536 Newark-Granville Road in Granville Township, Owned by S. R. Larsen Trustee
This ordinance approves the annexation of property owned by S. R. Larsen Trustee at 1536 Newark-Granville Road for the construction of a cluster housing development.
Ordinance No. 14-2017, An Ordinance Authorizing the Village Manager to Grant a General Permit to Arnold Joseph to License the Use of the Village Right-of-Way at 224 East College Street, Unit B
This ordinance authorizes the Village Manger to enter into an agreement with Arnold Joseph to allow for an encroachment easement of five feet (5’) into Village right-of-way to replace front steps to his home at 224 East College Street, Unit B
Resolution No. 2017-48, A Resolution to Establish the Time and Place of a Public Hearing for the 2018 Municipal Budget as Proposed by the Village Manager
Section 6.06 of the Village Charter requires Council to set a date and time for the public hearing of the budget. Budget hearing Resolution No. 2017-48 would schedule a public hearing to review the 2018 budget for Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 7:30pm. The 2018 budget ordinance will be introduced at the October 18, 2017 Council meeting.
All legislation is available for review at the Village office during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village office is located at 141 East Broadway.
