The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the December 7, 2016 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 09-2016, An Ordinance to Make Appropriations for Current Expenses and Other Expenditures of the Village of Granville, State of Ohio, During the Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2017
This ordinance establishes the appropriations for the Village operations and capital improvement projects for 2017.
Ordinance No. 10-2016, An Ordinance to Authorize the Village Manager to Enter into a Lease Agreement with the Granville Township Board of Trustees for the Leasing of the Fire Station Building at 133 North Prospect Street
This ordinance renews the lease for the fire station building between the Village of Granville and the Granville Township Board of Trustees for a 5-year period. This is the 9th renewal of this lease.
Resolution No. 2016-52, A Resolution Authorizing and Directing the Manager of the Village of Granville, Ohio, to Enter into an Agreement with the Bryn Du Commission
This resolution renews the existing agreement between the Bryn Du Commission and the Village of Granville for the day-to-day management and operation of the Bryn Du facility for a two-year period.
Resolution No. 2016-53, A Resolution of Establish the Annual Compensation Adjustment for Non-Bargaining Employees for Fiscal Year 2017
This resolution adjusts compensation for 2017 for Village non-bargaining employees in pay grades A-K, not covered by collective bargaining (union) agreements (non-police and non-public works individuals including department heads, clerical, and Village office staff). The resolution treats the non-bargaining employees like Village union employees by authorizing a 1.5% cost of living increase. It also provides merit increases and/or bonus (union contracts have automatic step increases, not available for non-bargaining employees) to those employees who performed well as documented by an evaluation process. The resolution also extends the 1.5% increase to part-time employees.
Resolution No. 2016-54, A Resolution Directing the Bryn Du Commission and inviting the Granville Recreation District to Collaboratively Identify Opportunities to Enhance Utilization at Bryn Du
This resolution provides for a six-month collaborative process encouraging the Bryn Du Commission and the Granville Recreation District to establish a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the current GRD utilization of the Bryn Du property and facilities. The goal is to enhance programming and public access to the property.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
