The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the March 15, 2017 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 03-2017, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 09-2019 Providing for Adjustments to the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2017 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses
This ordinance is a supplemental appropriation ordinance to amend the 2017 annual operating budget to account for the benefit pay-outs for an outgoing employee, purchase of a pick-up truck, a Vapex system for a waste water lift station, the South Cherry Street storm water improvements, and additional General Fund appropriations.
Resolution No. 2017-22, A Resolution to Award the Contract for the 2017 Street Improvement Project to Kokosing Construction Company, as per Specifications, and Authorize the Village Manager to Enter into an Agreement Therefor
Bids for the 2017 street improvement project were opened on March 8, 2017. The lowest bidder was Kokosing Construction Company for a base bid of $415,235.25.00. The Village Engineer concluded that Kokosing Construction Company has the ability, the resources, and the experience to properly complete the work and has recommended that the contract for the 2017 street improvement project be awarded to Kokosing Construction Company. The project will mill and pave Milner Road, East and West Elm Street, Milner Road, Bantry Street, Kildare Street, Donegal Drive and Wicklow Drive.
Resolution No. 2017-23, A Resolution to Appoint a Member to the Planning Commission
This resolution appoints Tim Klingler to the Granville Planning Commission to fill the term of Steven Hawk, who resigned January 31, 2017. Tim’s term is effective until January 31, 2018.
