BZBA Public Notice January 10, 2019

The Village of Granville Board of Zoning and Building Appeals will hear the following applications at its meeting on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

 

Note:  The applications listed under Old and New Business are “open to the public” but are "not public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

 

New Business:

 

Application #2018-159, submitted by the Granville Township Trustees, for the property located at 347 East Maple Street. The request is for review and approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the parcel to be added to Maple Grove Cemetery for future improvements. The property is zoned Open Space District (OSD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

 

Application #2018-160, submitted by the Granville Township Trustees, for the property located northeast of the intersection of South Pearl Street and the TJ Evans Trail. The request is for review and approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the parcel to be added Maple Grove Cemetery for future improvements. The property is zoned Open Space District (OSD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

 

Application #2018-163, submitted by Stone Pillar Construction, for the property located at 442 East Broadway. The request is for review and approval of three (3) variances: to increase the allowable lot coverage from twenty (20%) percent to thirty-two-point-five (32.5%) percent, to reduce the side yard setback from twelve (12’) feet to ten (10’) feet, and to reduce the total side yard from twenty-six (26’) feet to twenty-three (23’) feet.  The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).
