At its regular meeting on January 17, 2018, the Granville Village Council scheduled a hearing for February 7, 2018 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:
Ordinance No. 01-2018, An Ordinance Accepting an Application for the Annexation to the Village of Granville of Certain Real Properties Located at 1536 Newark-Granville Road, Totaling 18.8+/- Acres and 0.039+/- Acres
S. R. Larson, Trustee of the S. R. Larson Ltd. Profit Sharing Plan Trust, is the owner of approximately 18.8 and 0.039 +/-acres of land located on the south side of Newark-Granville Road at 1536 Newark-Granville Road in Granville Township. He has requested annexation into the Village of Granville. S. R. Larson, Trustee of the S. R. Larson Ltd. Profit Sharing Plan Trust prepared an Expedited Type I petition for the annexation of these 18.8 acres and related right-of-way along Newark-Granville Road. The petition for annexation was approved by the Licking County Commissioners on and, following a mandatory 60-day waiting period, is ready for approval by the Village. The property is contiguous to the Village, which is a pre-requisite to annexation.
Ordinance No. 02-2018, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 15-2017 Providing for Adjustments to the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2018 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses
This ordinance is a supplemental appropriation ordinance to amend the 2018 annual operating budget to account for the AFSCME union agreement, additional landscape plantings in 2018 for the new Thornwood Crossing, an extensive traffic study for the eastern portion of Newark-Granville Road, architectural drawings for a new service department and the repaving of the T J Evans pathway.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
