The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the February 21, 2018 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 03-2018, An Ordinance Accepting an Application for the Annexation to the Village of Granville Certain Real Properties Located on Weaver Road, Totaling 1.166 +/- Acres
Raccoon Creek, LLC, (also known as Metropolitan Partners), is the owner of approximately 1.166 acres of land located on Weaver Drive in Granville Township, .requested annexation into the Village of Granville. Ryan Badger, of ADR, prepared an Expedited Type I petition for the annexation of these 1.166 acres and related right-of-way along Weaver Drive. The petition for annexation was approved by the Licking County Commissioners on is ready for approval by the Village. The property is contiguous to the Village, which is a pre-requisite to annexation.
Ordinance No. 04-2018, An Ordinance Adopting Permanent Zoning (Village Gateway District) for the Raccoon Creek Senior Housing Property on Weaver Drive
This ordinance establishes permanent zoning for the Raccoon Creek, LLC property owned by Metropolitan Partners and located on Weaver Drive. The property owners have requested that the property be zoned as Village Gateway District. The Granville Planning Commission, after conducting a public hearing on the request on November 13, 2017, has determined that the property is suitable for the Village Gateway District zoning designation and recommended the property be zoned accordingly.
Ordinance No. 05-2018, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 15-2017 Providing for Adjustments of the Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year 2018 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses, and Declaring an Emergency
This ordinance is a supplemental appropriation to amend the 2018 annual operating budget to account for South Cherry Street storm water line engineering and replacement pumps at the wastewater facility as well as a street sweeper vacuum head. This ordinance has been prepared with an emergency clause so that it can go into effect immediately upon passage.
Resolution No. 2018-09, A Resolution to (Re)Appoint a Member to the Board of Trustees for the Granville Recreation District
This resolution reappoints Katie Richards to the Granville Recreation District for a three-year term that will expire on February 28, 2020.
Resolution No. 2018-10, A Resolution to Appoint a Member to the Granville Arts Commission and Set Term Limits
This resolution appoints Angela Katona as the representative of the Granville Area Chamber of Commerce due to the resignation of Jodi Melfi. This legislation also is assigning term limits for all members of this Commission as term limits were never established and will reduce the total number of Commission members from ten to nine effective in January 2022.
