At its regular meeting on February 7, 2018, the Granville Village Council scheduled a hearing for February 21, 2018 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:
Ordinance No. 03-2018, An Ordinance Accepting an Application for the Annexation to the Village ofGranville of Certain Real Properties Located on Weaver Drive, Totaling 1.166 +/- Acres
Raccoon Creek, LLC (also known as Metropolitan Partners), is the owner of approximately 1.166 acres of land located on Weaver Drive in Granville Township . He has requested annexation into the Village of Granville. Ryan Badger, of ADR, prepared an Expedited Type I petition for the annexation of these 1.166 acres and related right-of-way along Weaver Drive. The petition for annexation was approved by the Licking County Commissioners on is ready for approval by the Village. The property is contiguous to the Village, which is a pre-requisite to annexation.
Ordinance No. 04-2018, An Ordinance Adopting Permanent Zoning (Village Gateway District) for the Raccoon Creek Senior Housing Property on Weaver Drive
This ordinance, if approved, would establish permanent zoning for the Raccoon Creek, LLC property owned by Metropolitan Partners and located on Weaver Drive. The property owners have requested that the property be zoned as Village Gateway District. The Granville Planning Commission, after conducting a public hearing on the request on November 13, 2017, has determined that the property is suitable for the Village Gateway District zoning designation and recommended the property be zoned accordingly.
