Planning Commission Meeting Notice March 12, 2018

The Granville Planning Commission will hear the following applications at its meeting on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

NoteThe applications listed under New Business are “open to the public” but are "not public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

Old Business:

Application #2018-011, submitted by the Southgate Corporation, for the 57-acre property located at the northeast corner of Cherry Valley Road NE and Newark-Granville Road.  The request is for review and recommendation of approval to Village Council, of a Preliminary Development Plan and Preliminary Plat for the project’s Phase I – Eaton Square of the Eaton Woods of Granville proposed development.   The application was introduced at the February 12, 2018 Granville Planning Commission meeting.  The property is currently zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD), and the first one hundred (100) feet of the property from the Newark-Granville Road right-of-way is located within the Transportation Corridor Overlay District (TCOD).

New Business:

Application #2018-018, submitted by Ryan Badger of ADR & Associates, on behalf of Karl Schneider of Raccoon Creek Senior Living LLC, for two properties located on Weaver Road (Lot 15, Township 2, Range 13) and the southeast corner of Weaver Road and Columbus Road.  The request is for review and approval of a Preliminary Development Plan and Preliminary Plat for the project’s Phases III and IV of the Middleton Garden Cottages development.   The property is currently zoned Village Gateway District (VGD).

Application #2018-020, submitted by Ryan Badger of ADR & Associates, on behalf of Tod and Evelyn Frolking, for the property located south of 605 West Broadway at Harmony Lane.  The request is for review and approval of the final plat for the Village Roots development. The property is currently zoned Suburban Residential District-C (SRD-C).
