Legislation Adopted May 2, 2018

The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the May 2, 2018 regular meeting:

Resolution No. 2018-33, A Resolution to Appoint a Member to the Union Cemetery Board of Trustees

This resolution (re)appointed Lyn Boone as the community representative to the Union Cemetery Board.  Mrs. Boone’s term on the Board expired on May 31, 2018, with the new term expiring on May 31, 2021.

Resolution No. 2018-34, A Resolution to Declare, with the Granville Township Trustees, that Operation and Maintenance of the Union Cemetery, Under the Provisions of Section 759.27 of the Ohio Revised Code, Shall Continue

This resolution continued the operation of the Old Colony burying Ground as a Union Cemetery for an additional year. 

Resolution No. 2018-35, A Resolution to Appoint a Member to the Granville Arts Commission

This resolution appoints Amanda Love to the Granville Arts Commission to fill the term of Meg Ginther, who resigned April 10, 2018.  Ms. Love’s term is effective until January 31, 2020.   

Resolution No. 2018-36, A Resolution Endorsing the Granville Exempted Village School District’s Academic, Extracurricular and Fiscal Management Policies

This resolution is an endorsement of Granville school district’s high academic standards and achievements, their support of quality extracurricular options for students and their strong financial management policies.

All legislation is available for review at the Village office during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village office is located at 141 East Broadway.
