Notice of Public Hearing

At its regular meeting on August 15, 2018, the Granville Village Council held over the public hearing until September 5, 2018 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:

Ordinance No. 11-2018, An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 1191 Satellite Dish and Communication Towers for Communication Distribution Systems

This ordinance, if approved, would establish guidelines and requirements for small cell tower companies interested in installing facilities within public rights-of-way.

Ordinance No. 12-2018, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 15-2017 Providing for Adjustments of the Annual Budget  for the Fiscal Year 2018, and Revising Sums of Operating Expenses

This ordinance, if approved, would be a supplemental appropriation to allocate funds for the construction of a new service department on Columbus Road.  The Village is allocating $2.5 million toward this project.

              Ordinance No. 13-2018, An Ordinance Providing for the Issuance of Not to Exceed $2,900,000 of Notes by the Village of Granville, Ohio, in Anticipation of the Issuance of Bonds for the Purpose of Paying Part of the Cost of Constructing a Service Department Complex

The ordinance, if approved, would authorize the issuance of bond anticipation notes not to exceed $2,900,000 for the financing of a new Village service department complex located along Columbus Road. The notes are in the amount of up to $2,900,00 and carry a current annual interest rate of 6.0%. 

All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
