Planning Commission Meeting Notice January 28, 2019

The Granville Planning Commission will hear the following applications at its meeting on Monday, January 28, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

Note:  The applications listed under New Business are “open to the public” but are "not public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

New Business:

Application #2019-001, submitted by William Zinke for the property located at 343 North Pearl Street.  The request is for architectural review and approval of the replacement of a retaining wall located in the public Right of Way. The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B) and is located within both the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD) and the Transportation Corridor Overlay District (TCOD).

Application #2019-002, submitted by Jake Preston, on behalf of Denison University, for the property located at 221 West College Street.  The request is for review and approval of the addition of three (3) handicap parking spaces which will be located in the public Right-of-Way at the intersection of Cherry Street and West Broadway.  The property is zoned Village Institutional District (VID) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2019-003, submitted by Jake Preston, on behalf of Denison University, for the property located at 204 West Broadway.  The request is for review and approval of a landscaping plan and ADA improvements to Monomy House and the Monomy Annex.  The property is zoned Village Institutional District (VID) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).
