Planning Commission Meeting Notice March 11, 2019

The Granville Planning Commission will hear the following applications at its meeting on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

Note:  The applications listed under New Business are “open to the public” but are "not public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

Old Business:

Application #2019-010, submitted by Jim Ashworth, on behalf of Welsh Hills School, for the property located at 2610 Newark-Granville Road.  The request is for review and approval of the construction of a new accessory structure that will provide high school classroom space. The property is zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD) and is located within the Transportation Corridor Overlay District (TCOD).

New Business:

Application #2019-012, submitted by Grant Stuller, for the property located at 2450 Newark-Granville Road. The request is for review and approval of the installation of forty-two (42’) feet of a seventy-two (72”) inch tall privacy fence in the backyard. The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-A (SRD-A) and is located within the Transportation Corridor Overlay District (TCOD).

Application #2019-014, submitted by Darren and Michele Kennedy, for the property located at 410-412 West Broadway.  The request is for architectural review and approval of the replacement of twenty-one (21) wooden windows with vinyl windows. The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).
