At its regular meeting on May 15, 2019, the Granville Village Council scheduled a hearing for June 5, 2019 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:
Ordinance No. 11-2019, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 17-2018 Providing for Adjustments of the Annual Budget for the Fiscal year 2019 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses
The ordinance, if approved, would appropriate funds to account for dentures for K-9 Moke, a contribution to the Veteran’s Memorial Monument at Maple Grove Cemetery, repaving of the township/village service center driveway, curb replacement on Chapin Place, expenses related to the Service Department move, asbestos removal at the Service Department, and the sewer line installation for Hplex.
Ordinance No. 12-2019, An Ordinance to Establish Chapter 1194 of the Codified Ordinance of the Village of Granville, Ohio Regarding Composting
This ordinance, if approved, would establish a composting section to the Village Code. The ordinance sets limits on what may be composted, types of compost containers and the location of compost containers. There are also penalties for violations of the code and/or causing a nuisance due to composting.
Ordinance No. 13-2019, An Ordinance Authorizing a Real Property Lease to Facilitate Co-Location of a Granville Police Department Firearms Qualification Range and Canine Training Facility with the Village Service Center and the Township Service Garage Complex at 1536 Columbus Road
The ordinance, if approved, would negotiate a lease between the Village of Granville and Granville Township Trustees for use of Township property for a police department firearms qualification range and canine training facility located behind the new Village Service Complex off Columbus Road and along State Route 37.
