Planning Commission Meeting Notice May 13, 2019

The Granville Planning Commission will hear the following applications at its meeting on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

Note:  The applications listed under New Business are “open to the public” but are "not public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

Consent Agenda:

Application #2019-045, submitted by Elizabeth Hall, for the property located at 223 North Granger Street. The request is for architectural review and approval of the replacement of wood decking with composite deck boards. The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

New Business:

Application #2019-040, submitted by Jamie LeJeune, for the property located at 512 West Broadway. The request is for review and approval of the addition of 20’ x 20’ deck to the rear of the house. The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B) and is located within the Transportation Corridor Overlay District (TCOD).

Application #2019-042, submitted by Kevin Atkinson and Olivia Aguilar, for the property located at 402 West Maple Street. The request is for architectural review and approval of the replacement of an existing retaining wall. The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-B (SRD-B) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2019-046, submitted by Don Haven, on behalf of First Presbyterian Church, for the property located at 110 West Broadway. The request is for architectural review and approval of the replacement of an existing dumpster enclosure with a smaller enclosure and the addition of a storage shed behind the new dumpster enclosure. The property is zoned Village Square District (VSD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2019-047, submitted by Mark Wilson and Tobias Katz, for the property located at 338 East Maple Street. The request is for architectural review and approval of a major exterior renovation. The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2019-048, submitted by Victor Terebuh, for the property located at 203 East Elm Street. The request is for architectural review and approval of the addition of asphalt pavement to the existing parking area and the construction of a storage shed located behind the structure. The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Application #2019-049, submitted by Edward White Jr., for the property located at 338 North Pearl Street. The request is for architectural review and approval of the removal of a patio door, minor landscape improvements, and the construction of an 8’ x 12’ storage shed located behind the structure. The property is zoned Village Residential District (VRD) and is located within the Architectural Review Overlay District (AROD).

Chapter 1171: Planned Development District Revisions, discussion on proposed amendments to Chapter 1171 of the Village Codified Ordinances.
