The Village of Granville Board of Zoning and Building Appeals will hear the following applications at its meeting on Thursday, July 11th, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway:

Note:  The applications listed under Old and New Business are “open to the public” but are "not public hearings.” The only individuals who are permitted to speak at this hearing are those individuals who are the actual “parties” to the matter. The following persons or their attorneys are considered to be parties: the applicant, the owner of the property that is the subject of the application, the owner of property that is adjacent or contiguous to that property that is the subject of the application, and any other person who claims that a direct, present injury or prejudice will occur to a personal property right if the application is approved or denied.

New Business:

Application #2019-067, submitted by William Lewis, for the property located at 2402 Newark-Granville Road. The request is for review and approval of two (2) variances: to increase the maximum permitted size of an accessory structure from 840 square feet to 1,120 square feet, and to increase the number of accessory structures in excess of 144 square feet from one (1) to two (2). The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-A (SRD-A) and is located within the Transportation Corridor Overlay District (TCOD).

Application #2019-071, submitted by Jeremy and Cara Johnson, for the property located at 2613 Newark-Granville Road. The request is for review and approval of three (3) variances: to increase the maximum cumulative size of accessory structures from 864 square feet to 2,896 square feet, to increase the maximum allowable accessory structures from two (2) to three (3), and to increase the number of accessory structures in excess of 144 square feet from one (1) to three (3). The property is zoned Suburban Residential District-A (SRD-A) and is located within the Transportation Corridor Overlay District (TCOD).
