PUBLIC NOTICE OF LEGISLATION - VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE
The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the August 17, 2011 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 31-11, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 22-10 Providing for Adjustments of the Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year 2011 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses for the Extension of the South Main Street Waterline
This ordinance provides an additional appropriation in the 2011 Operating Budget for the extension of a Village waterline along South Main Street under Raccoon Creek and south to the Mill District development at 1919 Lancaster Road. Additional funding of $75,255 would be set aside for the construction of this project.
Resolution No. 11-47, A Resolution to Award the Contract for the Extension of the South Main Street Waterline to Precise Boring of Ohio, OOC, as per Specifications, and to Authorize the Village Manager to Enter into an Agreement Therefor
This resolution awards the bid for the extension of the waterline along South Main Street to Precise Boring of Ohio, LLC. Precise Boring was the lowest and recommended bid, per Village Engineer Jerry Turner of Bird & Bull in the amount of $56,078.
Resolution No. 11-48, A Resolution to Update Fees Charged by the Village for Document Copies, Tapes and CDs Sold to the Public
This resolution updates the user fees of the Village, which are designed to assign costs of Village services to avoid subsidy of specific services by the greater Village population. The last update of fees was in 1991. Copy fees will be $.05 per page for black and white copies with the first 15 pages free and $.10 per page for color copies. The cost to copy a cassette tape or CD will be $1.00.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
