PUBLIC NOTICE OF LEGISLATION - VILLAGE OF GRANVILLE
The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the October 19, 2011 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 33-2011, An Ordinance to Create a Capital Project Reserve Fund
This ordinance establishes a new Capital Project Fund. As the Village received an inheritance tax settlement of $1,925,150.89, Village Council requested that a Capital Project Reserve Fund be created to account for this unexpected revenue and ensure that funds are used to address capital improvement needs for the Village.
Ordinance No. 34-2011, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 22-10 Providing for Adjustments to the Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year 2011 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses Related to Establishing a Capital Project Fund
This ordinance is in connection with Ordinance 33-2011, the establishment of a Capital Project Fund to account for the revenue from an unexpected estate tax settlement. This ordinance will amend the 2011 Budget to include this fund and the revenues placed in this fund.
Resolution No. 2011-55, A Resolution to Make an Appointment to the Granville Tree Trimming Committee
This resolution appoints an additional member, William Dorman, to the Granville Tree Trimming Committee. This committee was established upon the recommendation of Village Council to deal with issues of power line clearance in the community. Mr. William Dorman has requested to join this committee and the committee has recommended his appointment.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
