The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the November 18, 2015 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 14-2015, An Ordinance to Make Appropriations for Current Expenses and Other Expenditures of the Village of Granville, State of Ohio, During the Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2016
This ordinance establishes the appropriations for the Village operations and capital improvement projects for 2016.
Resolution No. 2015-49, A Resolution of Appreciation to Dr. Constance Barsky for Service on Village Council and Service to the People of the Village of Granville
This resolution expresses the Village’s appreciation for Constance Barsky’s service on Village Council from December, 2003 until November 2015.
Resolution No. 2015-50, A Resolution of Establish the Annual Compensation Adjustment for Non-Bargaining Employees for Fiscal Year 2016
This resolution adjusts compensation for 2016 for Village non-bargaining employees in pay grades A-K, not covered by collective bargaining (union) agreements (non-police and non-public works individuals including department heads, clerical, and Village office staff). The resolution treats the non-bargaining employees like Village union employees by authorizing a 1.5% cost of living increase. It also provides merit increases and/or bonus (union contracts have automatic step increases, not available for non-bargaining employees) to those employees who performed well as documented by an evaluation process, requested by the Village Council. The resolution also extends the 1.5% increase to part-time employees and the Village Manager.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
