The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the April 1, 2015 regular meeting:
Resolution No. 2015-24, A Resolution Supporting the Principles of the Next Century Cities Project and Confirm the Village of Granville’s Interest in Participating and Benefitting from Participating in the Project
This resolution indicates Village Council’s support for the principles outlined by the Next Century Cities Project. The Next Century Cities Project is a national effort to speed up internet service and maintain it as a public utility. The group advocates local municipalities encourages for the construction (public or private) of local fiber optic networks that could dramatically increase internet service speeds.
Resolution No. 2015-25, A Resolution Affirming the Decision of the Council of the Village of Granville to Affirm with Modifications the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals Decision for the Conditional Use Submitted by Denison University, Application #2014-187, for Parcel Numbers 020-05186-00.000, 020-051544-00.000 and 020-051608-00.000, and Adopting Decision Findings and Conclusions of Fact
This resolution affirms the decision of the Council to modify the decision of the BZBA and would adopt the findings and conclusions of fact. During the March 11, 2015 meeting, Council voted to affirm with modifications the decision by the Granville Board of Zoning and Building Appeals to approve a Conditional Use for a solar array from Denison University for Application #2014-187 for parcel numbers 020-051586-00.000, 020-051544-00.000 and 020-051608-00.000.
