The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the April 17, 2013 regular meeting:
Resolution No. 2013-29, A Resolution to Permit the Structural Demolition an Accessory Structure at 744 Burg Street
This resolution authorizes the demolition of a wooden garage at 744 Burg Street. This application was reviewed and approved for demolition by the Village Manager. The applicant has proposed building a new garage that was reviewed and approved by the Planning Commission.
Resolution No. 2013-30, A Resolution to (Re) Appoint Members to the Bryn Du Commission
This resolution affirms the reappointment of Stewart Dyke, Vincent Engel and Jurgen Pape representatives to the Bryn Du Commission, as Village representatives. All three terms expire April 30, 2013 with new terms expiring April 30, 2016.
Resolution No. 2013-31, A Resolution Adopting a Sewer / Water Back-up Policy for the Village of Granville
This resolution authorizes the adoption of a sewer / water back-up policy for the Village. Council requested that staff develop a policy summarizing all party’s responsibilities when sewers back-up. Staff generated a policy for Council's review. Staff expanded the policy to include a response to water distribution flooding also. Most municipalities in the Midwest have a policy similar to that presented.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
