The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the August 5, 2015 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 08-2015, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 16-2014 Providing for Adjustments of the Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year 2015 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses
This ordinance is a supplemental appropriation to amend the 2015 annual operating budget to account for the purchase of police reporting software, street trees, repairs to the Service Department ceiling, and lime sludge hauling at the water treatment facility.
Resolution No. 2015-39, A Resolution to Permit the Demolition of a Detached, Two-Story Garage at 410 North Granger Street
This resolution authorizes the demolition of a two-story, wooden detached garage at 410 North Granger Street. This application was reviewed and approved for demolition by the Granville Planning Commission. The Granville Historical society also reviewed the application and found no historical value to the garage. The applicant proposed building a new garage that was also reviewed and approved by the Planning Commission.
Resolution No. 2015-40, A Resolution to Authorize the Village Manager to Auction or Advertise for Bids for the Sale of Surplus Equipment
This resolution authorizes the Village Manager to have an auction or to advertise for bids for the sale of the surplus equipment as identified in the resolution.
Resolution No. 2015-41, A Resolution Adopting a Memorial Bench Policy for the Village of Granville
The purchasing of benches memorializing or recognizing family members and placing them along Village roadways has long been a tradition in the Village. This resolution affirms a policy that outlines the procedures for purchasing and placing memorial benches,
