Granville Community Calendar

Legislation Adopted February 18, 2015

The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the February 18, 2015 regular meeting: 

Ordinance No. 01-2015, An Ordinance to Authorize the Village Manager to Enter into a Lease Agreement with the Granville Studio of Visual Arts for the Lease of the Terrace House at Bryn Du, 537 Jones Road, for a Term of Three Years

This ordinance authorizes the Village Manager to enter into a lease agreement with the Granville Studio of Visual Arts (GSVA) for the lease of the Terrace House at Bryn Du for a third three year term.  The GSVA has renovated the Terrace House and uses the building as a gallery and for art-related classes.  The provisions of the lease were negotiated by representatives of the Bryn Du Commission and have been recommended to the Council by the Commission.

Resolution No. 2015-10, A Resolution Adopting a Special Events Policy for the Village of Granville 

This resolution establishes a Special Events Policy that outlines guidelines that the Village will use in issuing special permit applications. 

Resolution No. 2015-11, A Resolution to Express Appreciation to Kate Barrett for Her Service on the Granville Recreation District

This resolution recognizes the contributions made by Kate Barrett as a member of the Granville Recreation District from January 21, 2009 until February 28, 2015. 

Resolution No. 2015-13, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 122 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Aladdin” for Calendar Year 2015, Subject to Restrictions

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Aladdin at 122 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2015, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2013.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2015-14, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 126 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Broadway Pub” for the Calendar Year 2015 Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Broadway Pub at 126 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2015 but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2013.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2015-15, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 128 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Moe’s Barbeque” for the Calendar Year 2015, Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Moe’s Barbeque at 128 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2015, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for other café seating.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2015-16, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 132 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Village Coffee Company” for the Calendar Year 2015, Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Village Coffee Company at 132 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2015, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2013.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.   

Resolution No. 2015-17, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 134 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Day Y Noche” for the Calendar Year 2015, Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Day Y Noche at 134 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2015, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2013.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2015-18, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 138 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Whit’s Frozen Custard” for the Calendar Year 2015, Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Whit’s Frozen Custard at 138 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2015, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2013.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2015-19, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 127 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Dragon Village” for the Calendar Year 2015, Subject to Restrictions

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Dragon Village at 127 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2015, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2013.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
