Resolution No. 2015-06, A Resolution to Cooperate with the Director of Transportation for the Ohio Department of Transportation Regarding the Construction of a New Cherry Valley Interchange and the Closing of Cherry Valley Road (County Road 128)

This resolution requests that the Village agrees to cooperate and agrees with ODOT to close a portion of Cherry Valley Road.

The document also states that ODOT will pay any compensation or damages as a result of the closure.

Resolution No. 2015-07, A Resolution Agreeing to the Closure of Cherry Valley Road (County Road 128)

This resolution requests that the Village agree to the proposed closure of Cherry Valley Road as petitioned in the attachment. It also states that ODOT will pay any costs related to construction, damages, right-of-way costs, etc. as a result of that closure.  This document requires signature by both ODOT and Village.

Resolution No. 2015-08, A Resolution to Cooperate with the Director of Transportation for the Ohio Department of Transportation Regarding the Construction of a New Cherry Valley Interchange

This resolution allows ODOT to alter, improve, and/or close local roadway(s).  The resolution states that the Village gives consent to use the municipal right-of-way to alter roadways/pathways or to establish roadways/pathways.  The resolution also states that the Village will maintain the new local roadways or pathways established as part of the project.  ODOT will also sign this resolution as there are some maintenance items that ODOT is responsible for and costs associated with establishing the new roadways/pathways as part of the project.

Resolution No. 2015-09, A Resolution Agreeing to Cooperate with the Director of Transportation of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for the Construction of a New Interchange Over State Route 16 to Replace the Current Grade Intersection – Cherry Valley Road (County Road 128)

This resolution is standard preliminary legislation that ODOT sends to Local Public Agencies (LPAs) when either consent or participation is needed.  In this instance, both Granville and Newark will be participating in the project.  The preliminary legislation serves to state that the Village agrees to participate in the project.  The final legislation, which will be sent out after the official state estimate has been determined, will have the amounts determined.

All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
