The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the February 6, 2013 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 02-2013, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 22-2012 Providing for Adjustments of the Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year 2013 and Revising Sums for Operating Expenses
This ordinance is a supplemental appropriation to amend the 2013 annual operating budget to account for additional expenses as a result of employee 2013 compensation changes, to move $74,000 for law director services from Contractual Services to Salaries & Wages, to add $11,500 for benefits for the law director and include a supply line item of $5,000.
Resolution No. 2013-09, A Resolution to Award the Contract for the 2013 Street Improvement Project to the Shelly Company, as Per Specifications, and Authorize the Village Manager to Enter into an Agreement Therefor
This resolution authorizes the Village Manager to enter into a contract with The Shelly Company for the 2013 street improvement projects. The Shelly Company will mill and pave the portion of Jones Road within the Village and make improvements to the Jones Road / Newark-Granville Road intersection to make it ADA compliant. The total cost of the project was bid at $199,759.40. The Shelly Company has completed several projects in the Village in the past.
