Legislation Adopted January 16, 2013

The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the January 16, 2013 regular meeting: 

Ordinance No. 01-2013, An Ordinance Accepting an Application for the Annexation to the Village of Certain Real Properties Located on Columbus Road and Weaver Road, Totaling 32,036+/- Acres 

This ordinance accepts the application for annexation to the Village of 32.036 acres located along Columbus Road and Weaver Road from Metropolitan Partners.  Metropolitan Partners prepared an Expedited Type I Petition for the annexation of the Raccoon Creek property.  That petition for annexation was approved by the Licking County Commissioners on October 30, 2012.   

Resolution No. 2013-06, A Resolution to Appoint a Member to the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals 

This resolution reappoints Larry Burge to the BZBA as his current term expires January 31, 2013.  Mr. Burge’s new term will expire on January 31, 2016.  

Resolution No. 2013-07, A Resolution to Appoint Members to the Granville Planning Commission 

This resolution reappoints Tim Ryan to the Granville Planning Commission.  Mr. Ryan’s current term expires January 31, 2013.  His new term will expire on January 31, 2016.  This resolution also reappoints Councilmember Jeremy Johnson as the Council Ex-Officio member to the Planning Commission through January 31, 2014 and the Granville School District Ex-Officio member Doug Eklof for another one-year term expiring January 31, 2014. 

Resolution No. 2013-08, A Resolution Authorizing the Village Manager to Enter into an Agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation Regarding the Paving of South Cherry Valley Road in 2013 and to Execute Contracts as Required 

This resolution authorizes the Village Manager to sign a contract with the Ohio Department of Transportation, on behalf of the Village of Granville, for the resurfacing of South Cherry Valley Road and to authorize an invoice for the requested $30,804.00 in local match requirement.  This project is funded by ODOT and the Village of Granville through the Transportation Improvement Program administered by LCATS.  

All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
