Legislation Adopted March 2, 2016

The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the March 2, 2016 regular meeting:

Resolution No. 2016-14, A Resolution to Award the Ground Maintenance Contract for 2016 to Legend Lawn and Landscaping

This resolution awards the contract for grounds maintenance services for the calendar year 2016 to Legend Lawn & Landscape.  The maintenance contractor assists the Village Service Department by mowing a variety of areas identified within the Village.  

Resolution No. 2016-15, A Resolution to Award the Contract to Replace the HVAC Equipment in Village Hall to Luikart Heating and Cooling

This resolution awards the contract for the replacement of five HVAC units in Village Hall to Luikart Heating and Cooling.  The units are over twenty-years old.  The new units are energy star efficient. 

Resolution No. 2016-16, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 122 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Aladdin” for Calendar Year 2016, Subject to Restrictions

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Aladdin at 122 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2016, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2015.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2016-17, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 126 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “The Pub on Broadway” for the Calendar Year 2016 Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of The Pub on Broadway at 126 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2016 but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2015.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2016-18, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 128 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Moe’s Barbeque” for the Calendar Year 2016, Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Moe’s Barbeque at 128 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2016, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for other café seating.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2016-19, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 132 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Village Coffee Company” for the Calendar Year 2016, Subject to Restrictions

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Village Coffee Company at 132 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2016, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2015.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.   

Resolution No. 2016-20, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 134 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Day Y Noche” for the Calendar Year 2016, Subject to Restrictions

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Day Y Noche at 134 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2016, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2015.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2016-21, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 138 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Whit’s Frozen Custard” for the Calendar Year 2016, Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Whit’s Frozen Custard at 138 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2016, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2015.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2016-22, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 127 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Dragon Village” for the Calendar Year 2016, Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Dragon Village at 127 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2016, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2015.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.  

Resolution No. 2016-23, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of Sidewalk Seating on the Public Sidewalk at 125 East Broadway in Front of the Business Known as the “Granville Area Chamber of Commerce” for Calendar Year 2016, Subject to Restrictions

This resolution authorizes sidewalk seating to be located in front of the Granville Area Chamber of Commerce at 125 East Broadway.  The authorization permits the sidewalk seating through October 31, 2016, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for calendar year 2015.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the seating may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.    

Resolution No. 2016-24, A Resolution to Authorize the Non-Permanent Installation of a Sidewalk Café on the Public Sidewalk at 138 North Prospect Street in Front of the Business Known as “Mai Chau on Prospect” for Calendar Year 2016, Subject to Restrictions 

This resolution authorizes a sidewalk café to be located in front of the Mai Chau on Prospect at 138 North Prospect Street.  The authorization permits the sidewalk cafe through October 31, 2016, but can be extended by the Village Manager for a date to be determined.  All conditions in the resolution are similar to those required for other sidewalk cafes.  A diagram has been attached to the resolution that shows where the café may be located, where sidewalk signage may be located, and where sidewalk access is to be maintained.   

All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
