The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the October 2, 2013 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 19-2013, An Ordinance to Accept Certain Infrastructure Improvements Associated with the Sanitary Sewer Line Extension to the Kendal at Granville for the Public Maintenance and operation by the Village of Granville
This Ordinance accepts a sewer line installed by Kendal at Granville in 2006. Kendal completed the installation of a sewer line from the Village limits to their facility, but the line was never accepted by the Village. A normal process would be for a developer to install infrastructure improvements and, at the completion of the installation; a municipality would inspect the installation, approve and accept the improvements as part of the municipal infrastructure. The Village would then be responsible for the maintenance of those improvements. However, the acceptance of this line by the Village was delayed.
Resolution No. 2013-49, A Resolution to Award the Contract for the Purchase of Water Treatment Chemicals to Mid-Ohio Valley Lime, Inc.
This resolution awards the contract for the purchase of water treatment chemicals (lime) for 2014 to Mid-Ohio Valley Lime, Inc. Four bids were received. Mid-Ohio Valley Lime was the low bidder at $137.00 per ton. The other bids ranged from $139.90 per ton to $204.95 per ton. (Previous contract prices were $135.00 per ton in 2012, $130.00 per ton in 2011 and $125.00 per ton in 2009.)
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway
