The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the September 7, 2016 regular meeting:
Resolution No. 2016-43, A Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies and Certifying Them to the County Auditor
The annual resolution is required to accept the inside property tax millage (2.5 mills) and estimated revenues that were determined by the Licking County Budget Commission. (Inside Millage is un-voted millage that is within the 10-mill statutory limitation on un-voted property taxes.) The millage is unchanged from prior years and will generate approximately $96,750 in revenue for the Village. This resolution also authorizes the County Auditor to levy that inside millage on behalf of the Village.
