The Granville Village Council adopted the following legislation at the September 3, 2014 regular meeting:
Ordinance No. 07-2014, An Ordinance to Enact Chapter 719, Sections 719.01, 719.02, 719.03, 719.04, 719.05, 719.06, 719.07, 719.08, 719.09, 719.10, 719.11 and 719.12 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Granville, Ohio Pertaining to Food Truck Standards
This Ordinance creates Chapter 719 (Mobile Food Trucks) to provide for the permitting of mobile food trucks within the business regulations section of the code as a permitted use.
Ordinance No. 08-2014, An Ordinance to Amend Sections 1159.02, 1167.02, 1169.02, 1171.02, 1173.02 and 1175.02 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Granville, Ohio Pertaining to Food Truck Standards
This Ordinance modifies Chapters 1159, 1167, 1169, 1173, 1175 (as they relate to Mobile Food Trucks and Permitted Uses).
Ordinance No. 12-2014, An Ordinance to Amend Sections 513.02, 513.03, 513.04, 513.05, 513.06, 513.07, 513.08 and 513.12 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Granville, Ohio Pertaining to Medical Marihuana
This Ordinance amends the language in the Village code relative to medical marijuana to bring the Village Code into compliance with state of Ohio laws.
Resolution No. 2014-30, A Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies and Certifying Them to the County Auditor
The annual resolution is required to accept the inside property tax millage (2.5 mills) and estimated revenues that were determined by the Licking County Budget Commission. (Inside Millage is un-voted millage that is within the 10-mill statutory limitation on un-voted property taxes.) The millage is unchanged from prior years and will generate approximately $411,620 in revenue for the Village. This resolution also authorizes the County Auditor to levy that inside millage on behalf of the Village.
Resolution No. 2013-49, A Resolution to Award the Contract for the Purchase of Water Treatment Chemicals to Mid-Ohio Valley Lime, Inc.
This resolution awards the contract for the purchase of water treatment chemicals (lime) for 2015 to Mid-Ohio Valley Lime, Inc. Four bids were received. Mid-Ohio Valley Lime was the low bidder at $141.500 per ton. The other bids ranged from $185.00 per ton to $208.95 per ton. (Previous contract prices were $137.00 per ton in 2014, $137.00 per ton in 2013, $135.00 per ton in 2012, and $130.00 per ton in 2011.)
