Ordinance No. 15-2015, An Ordinance to Add Chapter 181 of the Codified Ordinance of the Village of Granville Regarding Municipal Income Tax
On December 19, 2014, Governor Kasich signed House Bill 5 into law. As a result of the passage of House Bill 5, the Village is required to make changes in the Village tax ordinance. The state has provided municipalities with specific direction for these required changes. Information on the major changes was presented to you, and are reflected in Village Ordinance No. 15-2015.
Ordinance No. 16-2015, An Ordinance to Authorize the Village Manager to Enter into a Lease Agreement with Reader’s Garden for the Lease of a Portion of Village Hall, 141 East Broadway
This ordinance would authorize the Village Manager to enter into a lease agreement with Reader’s Garden for a portion of Village Hall. According to the Village Charter, any sale or lease of Village property requires an authorizing ordinance by Village Council. This lease is a renewal of an existing lease for an additional three-year period.
Ordinance No. 17-2015, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 16-2014 Providing for Adjustments of the Annual Budget for the Fiscal year 2015 and Revising Sums fr Operating Expense
This ordinance is a supplemental appropriation to amend the 2015 annual operating budget to account for the purchase of pedestrian crossing signals, and to account for the vacation and sick leave payout for a resignation per the Village’s personnel ordinance.
All legislation is available for review at the Village Offices during regular business hours, which are normally 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Village Offices are located at 141 East Broadway.
