At its regular meeting on January 2, 2013, the Granville Village Council scheduled a public hearing and request for public comment for January 16, 2013 at 7:30pm in the Granville Village Council Chambers, 141 East Broadway, for the following:
Ordinance No. 01-2013, An Ordinance Accepting an Application for the Annexation to the Village of Certain Real Properties Located on Columbus Road and Weaver Road, Totaling 32.036 +/- Acres
Raccoon Creek, LLC, an Ohio Limited Liability Company, is the owner of approximately 32.036 acres of land located on the west side of Columbus Road in Granville Township. They have requested annexation into the Village of Granville. Raccoon Creek, LLC prepared an Expedited Type I petition for the annexation of these 32.036 acres and related right-of-way along Columbus Road and Weaver Road. The petition for annexation was approved by the Licking County Commissioners on October 30, 2012 and, following a mandatory 60-day waiting period, is ready for approval by the Village. The property is contiguous to the Village, which is a pre-requisite to annexation.
